We are pleased to announce that our institute is offering one research fellowship (15,000 NIS) for a scholar permanently based at a university or similar institution of higher education in Poland, who is working on various aspects of the history and culture of Polish Jews.
This award will enable a scholar from Poland to spend up to two months as a visiting researcher at Tel Aviv University. The fellow will be affiliated with the university's Institute for the Study of Polish Jewry and will enjoy full access to university libraries and archives as well as other academic services. Attending a language course in Hebrew (‘Ulpan’) is optional.
Fellows are expected to be in residence during any period of their choice between October 2015 and September 2016.
Please note that the purchase of plane tickets and medical insurance, as well as obtaining accommodations, are the responsibility of the fellows.

1. An updated CV (including a list of publications)
2. A brief research proposal
3. A letter of recommendation from the department or program chair
Deadline for submission: February 2, 2015
